The lights are on
A few readers were surprised to see that we are giving away beta keys for APB: Reloaded given my strong, negative feelings regarding the original game. Despite the game's problems, I'm always willing to give an MMO a second chance, and publisher GamersFirst is saying all the right things about their upcoming APB relaunch. We invited producer Jonenee Merriex and community liaison Cesar Gatica onto Respec Radio to plead their case for why gamers should take another look at this action MMO.

I will freely admit that I will definitely be checking out APB when it's released. I hope I get one of those beta keys! I wasn't even slightly interested in it when it first came out but I've been completely fascinated with hearing its saga unfold through Respec Radio. I always love a good comeback story so here's hoping it will do well.

sounds like they are definitly on the right track for getting this game going again the upgrades and notoriety aspect sound fun but im willing to bet the driving is still going to be messed up atleast its going to be f2p though. now that its over great podcast also you gota get andy mac back on these episodes its been ahwile since ive heard him hate on wow or any mmo's in general

Did they fire the guy that was writing about PvE in the blog? 'Cause back then it sounded like they had big plans for it. I'm glad they dumped it. I wouldn't want to play PvE Counter Strike.
I hope Gamers First delivers here. This game had huge potential, and delivered on none of it.

I would grab the beta key, but theres a thing called Rift that tells me to not do it. It also tells me kill people, but I normally don't do that.
I feel for Real World, I hope they can recover and push out another title soon.
