Question : what is a GP? Gigapixel ? man that's a frakking great camera on a tablet.

JDGAFFLIN says:

I'm sold. Moneys tight, and for the price, I'm down. Seems to be a solid value. And its stock android.

Just wanna throw out there that the 10.1 inch Acer Iconia is only $399 at best buy. Might as well throw in the extra $50 and get its bigger, badder big brother.

_X_ says:

Let me help you on your math, 399-329=70.

Not everyone prefers a ten inch tablet many folks, including myself would rather have the probability of a 7" device versus a bigger screen.

Viper says:

Let me help you on YOUR math...

The 16GB 7" tablet is $349. The 16GB 10.1" tablet is $399.

399-349 = 50.

DAS says:

Don't you mean "portability" instead of probability?

bobgott says:

For my needs smaller is better .. Samsung is suppose to be releasing a 8.9" soon. 10" is too big for me to use comfortably.

Jon Garrett says:

Tablets right?

jschu22 says:

Thats NOT what she said.

The probability? Do you mean portability?

EvoTastic says:

I have big brother and love it but little brother would be the one that would travel with me everywhere. At least it would have been if the battery wasn't so weak...

Am I missing the processor specs?

kra2y says:

Tegra 2. Its way down towards the bottom.

evertec says:

Darn, I was about to sell my 7" galaxy tab and get this until I saw the battery was only 1530mah. The galaxy tab has 4000 mah and gets much longer than the 4-5 hours that they're touting on the acer

dskwerl says:

That's a nice looking tablet for a really good price. Too bad it's only Wifi, but compelling none the less.

briankurtz79 says:

Why would they have only a $20 gap on models? No one will buy the 8gb for only 20 less. Should be 3 and 350

joshua.worth says:

I want it I want it I want it!!

gordol says:

Why do tablets get a MicroSD slot? C'mon... bigger device, give it a full size SD card!

1LoudLS says:

no way, i want to be able to insert my phones card in to it with out the need to have to carry around adapters

_X_ says:

This the first 7" done right. Definitely want one.

garfnodie says:

The title says it's available today, but where? I can't find it anywhere.

jbmurakami says:

Exactly--I can't find one either! Someone enlighten us please.

Alfonsca says:

For me, the difference between getting this vs the big brother is weight. The 7" is less than a pound (.92lb) and the 10.1 is a BRICK! That's why they are sitting on shelves! However, the 7"s battery issue is a drain (pun intended!)

DWR_31 says:

Acer's are sitting on shelves because the A500 is still on 3.1 while its little bro is on 3.2... Did I mention that the Asus Transformer is easier to hold, has better add-ons, and has a 3.2 already?
Isn't ASUS coming out with a new Quad-Core(Kal-El) tablet in a couple of months?
Oh, and done get me wrong. I almost bought the A500 because of the builtin ports, but I figured if I need them I can get the cool laptop dock thats available with the Transformer.

bladerunn3r says:

Damn I wanted a 7inch tab about 3 months ago for cheap (10inch is too big for me) ...so I bought a hauwei s7 slim for 290.00. Completely serves my purposes, but sucks knowing I could have gotten something WAY better now for about the same money down. Damn!

bladerunn3r says:

F**k it, I'm just going to get it anyway.

dirkyd3rk says:

Id like one, its such a hassle carrying around this heavy laptop!

Trustno1 says:

That is definitely one of the slickest looking ones I have seen in a while. I wouldn't mind having one at all haha!

sageleeone says:
