We champion literacy and education. We build libraries in Zambia; sponsor programs to match employee donations to educational institutions; and hasten to make significant and lasting contributions toward realizing world-wide literacy.
- Arts and Culture
We are patrons of the arts and showcase present and emerging cultural newsmakers and trendsetters from film, dance, music, theater and more. Through a series of discussions open to the public, we invite celebrated Chinese choreographers, Big Easy musicians, Hollywood legends, Grammy-winning rappers, and many other artists to discuss breaking barriers, crossing borders and preserving art.
- Philanthropy and Volunteerism
We support philanthropy and volunteerism in the communities where we operate and help fund many charitable organizations around the globe. Our employees are dedicated volunteers for varied causes and Dow Jones matches volunteer hours with needed capital.

We are agents of corporate social responsibility and are passionately committed to elevating the discourse on the issues of consequence. Through various platforms we bring together innovators and leaders in industry, politics, and policy to analyze issues in the economy, the environment, and health care; and uncover compelling new opportunities to address the challenges.

We are advocates of diversity and work to marshal the competitive advantages of an inclusive and representative workforce. We provide internships and scholarships to minority students; help fund initiatives that support the work of women in media; and host the only executive-level diversity career fair in the U.S., introducing thousands of highly-qualified diversity candidates to leading employers.
