Kaskelot is a massively built 3 Masted Barque, built  in 1948, Oak on Oak by J. Ring Anderson, Svendborg, Denmark as an Ice-Classed polar ship. She was built for the Royal Greenland Trading Company supplying the remote Greenland coastal settlements. She later became a Fisheries Support Vessel in The Faroes.   She was re-rigged and converted for use in TV and Films, Corporate Hospitality and Sail Training in 1981.
