Is this the HTC One XXL?

Is this the HTC One XXL?

If the HTC One X is the Taiwan based manufacturer's current flagship smartphone, why not make it extra large? A leaked screenshot appears to show off specs for a model allegedly called the HTC One XXL. And no, that doesn't refer to the size of the device. This device is certainly a beast with a quad-core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 processor and LTE connectivity. The graphics side will be held down by the Adreno 350 GPU. 2GB of RAM is expected to be on board this model which will be equipped with a 4.7 inch Super LCD 2 display.

The display on the HTC One XXL is said to have the same 720p resolution seen on the HTC One X (we guess one size fits all there) and the camera will be the same 8MP shooter that went skydiving with the HTC One X. The doubling of RAM to 2GB matches what the U.S. version of the Samsung Galaxy S III is carrying, surely an attempt to compete with the newest Samsung flagship.

We must confess to having our salt shakers out on this one, though, so while the specs seem tremendous and there is the Samsung Galaxy S III to compete with, we would like to hear something more official from HTC.

I heard it was 6.6.1 Maple Syrup

It cannot be "Hot Chocolate" because "H" is already in use by Honeycomb. It'll be more like something that starts with an L, M, or N.

If someone was that bothered by a 'new and improved' version of their phone coming out they'd literally never be in the position to buy a new one. It's just a fact of life that there's always going to be something new a month or two down the line.

I have to stay positive though, I bought a Lumia... ha ha

I know that, if someone keeps waiting for the new and improved he will keep waiting forever but can't companies at least wait like 6 months to release something new and not every couple of months?

Just switch to Verizon, then you won't have to worry about that. They release a new smartphone about once every six months. It's awesome to watch the other big 3 release phone after phone while you have the comfort of knowing you're stuck with your outdated bezel monster. Their latest 'new' flagship is known as the RAZR MAXX. Maybe you've heard of it. Same damn phone as RAZR, just has a bigger battery. Same low screen resolution. Same clunky old processor and huge bezel. Sold yet? The RAZR was released over 7 months ago. Hurry the f*ck up with the GS3, VZ. Just sayin'.

Verizon has been pretty slow this year, with no answer back to the One X/Evo LTE, no Galaxy S3 phone slated yet, etc. They were hella busy last year though, they released new phones like every month (droid bionic, droid 3, motorola razr, galaxy nexus, all within the span of a couple months).

I wait until my phone is almost completely outdated, and hardly runs.

then i stretch it until something sweet comes out. then i use the 14 day verizon return policy to get any better phone that comes out in the next 2 weeks or just incase i totally hate the one i bought. ;)

By pure processing power this thing should be leaps ahead of SIII.
Adreno 350?
Quad core S4?
Even the S IV will be lucky with specs like that.

Hah, can't wait to see the excuse remixfa will come up against this one, if true!
Snapdragon will be the most powerful chipset appearing in phones this year, just like I said.
