Limbo 2: first concept art, human body experimentation to feature

Limbo 2 - or something distinctly Limbo-flavoured from Playdead Studios - has been spotted among the recipients of a Danish government grant. Today just gets better and better. At this rate, we'll be playing Mirror's Edge 2, the Soul Reaver reboot and a new G-Police by lunchtime.

The project is imaginatively known as "Project 2". It's a 2.5D platformer which, unlike Limbo, comes in colour, and it "tells the story of a boy's struggle against evil forces trying to take over the world through questionable experiments on human bodies." Hmm. Sounds a bit, well... literal to us.

You can't argue with the concept art though. Very Limbo-esque. I sincerely hope that's his laundry he's dragging. Thanks, Kotaku.
