Glad to see Dragon's Dogma is right up there in its opening week. I'm very much enjoying the game so far - even though I bought Ghost Recon as well (and it is good), I'm far more excited to get back to DD as soon as I can.

It's a shame Sorcery seems to have sunk without a trace - though probably not the best week for Sony to release it really...

Dragon's Dogma has plenty of flaws, and a somewhat tedious initial 6-8 hours - but, once away from the castle, and once more skills start opening up, it really starts coming together, not to mention having some terrific vistas that really give the land some character.

An unexpected battle against a burning ogre in the dead of night - before wolves suddenly ran in to tear apart my helpers/Pawns, and turn the tide of battle for the worse - suddenly became much more dramatic than anything in the Lord of the Rings films.

Good job, Capcom, for its first foray into the open world genre.

At number one, however, another shooter with bells on. Meh.
