About Me
I am the CEO of New Constructs, LLC, an independent research firm in Nashville, TN. I care more about the truth than my ego. The purpose of New Constructs is to help restore the integrity of the capital markets. I write this blog to bring more exposure to the importance of due diligence when investing in stocks. When my grandfather was a money manager in the 1950's, he could reasonably trust the reported accounting results for making investment decisions. Today, one cannot trust accounting, and a great deal of data gathering and analysis is required to assess corporate profitability. New Constructs does that work better than anyone else, we do it with pride and we do it for more than 3000 companies. I was once an auditor with Arthur Andersen in Houston, TX. I was also an equity research analyst with Credit-Suisse from 1996-2000. I know how the sausage is made.
