About Me

I've been involved in technology since 1993 as an investment banker and research analyst. Not to date myself, but I sat at a small 3-seat table with the founders of Yahoo! before it went public to talk about their strategy. Fascinating! Since, I have met with hundreds of companies, from start-ups to the large cap companies and I have been thinking about the direction and trends in technology for almost two decades. I evolved from focusing on internet infrastructure to mobile, and I look for disruptive trends. I believe that long-term outsized investment returns can be achieved by spotting trends early and continuing to examine the underlying assumptions. I have been contributing to Forbes.com since August 2009.
