About Me

I started covering markets at Forbes in the summer of 2007. Right around then a pair of Bear Stearns hedge funds imploded in the first tremors of the financial crisis, but I swear the recession isn't my fault. Armed with only a basic knowledge of Wall Street at the start, after more than a thousand stories I'm starting to get the hang of this business. My contributions to the Forbes brand don't end when I leave the office either: I'm also the reigning two-time MVP of the Forbes .400 softball team. Tips, story ideas, criticism, questions? Why Forbes

It's nice being able to explain what I do in a sentence, instead of a paragraph, and to be associated with some of the finest journalists I've had the pleasure to know.
