I am the Chief Markets Strategist for the Institutional arm of J.P. Morgan Asset Management. I oversee our global Strategy Group, and provide market insights to help pension funds, endowments, foundations, and sovereign entities make well-informed investment decisions.
Formerly I was Global Head of Currencies and Commodities for J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, where I oversaw a global team of trading specialists. I also serve on the Private Bank’s Investment Committee, overseeing approximately $720 billion in managed assets.
Over the previous decade, I held roles in currency research at the Investment Bank, based in London, Singapore and New York.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, I was a journalist covering politics, economics and markets for Dow Jones, the Associated Press and the St. Petersburg (Florida) Times, in London, Rome, New York and Washington, DC. I have masters degrees from NYU’s Stern and Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies, and a BS from University of Florida.
