@garywhitta at Xbox we used to quadruple estimates.Geretweet door Chris KohlerGesprek weergeven Gesprek verbergen -
Surely it's not rocket science: take your highest estimate for expected server load/capacity needed and then DOUBLE IT. What am I missing?

7th Guest 3 for tablets and PCs makes tons of sense. The genre is perfect for today. http://www.polygon.com/2013/3/6/4072420/the-7th-guest-3-in-development-for-ios-android-pc-and-mac …

But what'll make for interesting Twitter is the first time a dev says "my game is way different, please re-review" and Polygon says "no."

@kobunheat Hey, I just met you / And this is crazy / My servers are up now / So re-review me, maybe?Geretweet door Chris KohlerGesprek weergeven Gesprek verbergen -
Does digital journalism call for a new way of thinking? Perhaps, but constantly tweaking years' worth of reviews seems like a Sisyphean task

The restaurant analogy is one I am pretty sure I made at a SXSW panel years ago. You review the restaurant once, then re-review maybe.
-
Not saying that "living reviews" aren't an interesting experiment and maybe helpful. Talking about the growing idea that you're OBLIGATED to
-
Okay, so you all say some variation of "no, because the Internet is an archive." I agree. So: why do some feel that reviews must be updated?

If I publish a story saying John is the CEO of a company, and then John gets fired the next day, do I have to edit the story?
