About Me

I joined Forbes in 2009, shortly after earning a master's in journalism from Hong Kong University. My Asia experience began 15 years ago when I arrived fresh out of business school in what was then a British colony. My first job at the British consulate gave me the chance to witness the handover firsthand and gain some insight into Western diplomacy here in China's melting pot. It also allowed me to work with a handful of exceptional people, several of which I now blame for introducing me to the addictive properties of journalism.
