Yatseniuk wants to meet with Tymoshenko to discuss reunion of opposition

Leader of the Front for Change Party Arseniy Yatseniuk has said he appealed to Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka with a request to meet with Leader of the Batkivschyna Party Yulia Tymoshenko.

"I turned to the prosecutor general regarding a meeting with Yulia Tymoshenko on April 17. First of all, I want to see Yulia Tymoshenko, secondly, to discuss all the issues of the opposition integration and determine the final format [of participation in the elections]," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Saturday.

As reported, the Batkivschyna Party and the Front for Change Party intend to form a single list at the elections to the Verkhovna Rada.

The parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for October 28, 2012.
