Get your block on this week with the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft.

The ever-popular hit PC title Minecraft will headline Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade seasonal promotion, titled Arcade Next.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will debut on May 9, with a 1,600 Microsoft point price attached. Already a phenomenal success on the PC, Mojang's open-world construction game will add Kinect support via a postlaunch patch. Development of the port is being handled by 4J Studios, the outfit behind the Xbox 360 versions of Perfect Dark and the Banjo-Kazooie games.

The Xbox 360 version of Minecraft will also introduce an in-game wiki--a tutorial mode that teaches players about the foundations of Minecraft--as well as improved navigation and crafting systems.

Also out this week is Starhawk, the spiritual successor to 2007's Warhawk. The game is a PS3-exclusive space-Western that features both single-player and multiplayer modes. Like Warhawk before it, Starhawk will support competitive multiplayer matches on large-scale maps that cater to three varieties of combat: on foot, in ground vehicles, and in flying machines.

To see what else is out this week, check the list below:

May 9, 2012
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (Xbox 360)

May 10, 2012

COPMAN221ISBACK I agree the game is awesome but why would fanboys begging to differ have to do w/ anything? whats your point is what im getting at because that post you wrote is an open invitation to spark some "fanboy" flames. No disrespect but you come off like a fanboy and if you like the game, have it early as you mentioned, then why would that matter anyway?

Starhawk is an amazing game. The Beta was amazing. It need more recognition than it has, because CoD and Halo are stealing the spotlight. This is a shooter thats not like the others.
