Video Walkthrough

After you land, walk over to the armed vendor and speak with him about picking up some ammo if you need it. You can pick up a special weapon upgrade for 1,500, a Grenade Pack for 400, or a variety of ammo at different costs. Once you're done here, proceed through the nearby doorway and have a cut-scene start to play. Once the scene is complete you'll be rewarded 1,000 XP. That was easy, wasn't it?

Proceed forward to the door, open it, and sneak outside. Stay in cover at the top of the stairs and then slowly make your way down to one of the shipping containers below, remaining in cover. Wait for the guards to split up, leaving one of them on a short patrol near your location. Suppress this guard, hide his body, and continue along the backside of the truck that's parked next to the two blue generators.

Take cover behind the truck and spot the guard. He'll approach your location so suppress him as well. Now slowly move to the lighted area to your left near another parked truck. Get into cover and spot the entrance and the single guard. Once the guard has passed by, pick up the combat rifle ammo and a concussion grenade and proceed through the door.

LASER TARGETING SYSTEM - If you look on your map of the area you will see something that resembles an S AND a small building next too it. Make sure you have taken out most of the guards but don't worry too much about the ones at the far end as they probably won't see or hear you. Go the the west side (or left) of the the building and you will see a window and a crate. Jump onto the crate, croutch and then jump inside the building. There is a pocket secratary (nothing useful on it) and a credit card chip. If you look back at the window you just came through, and down in the small shelves, there will be a Laser Targeting System weapon mod just sitting there..seriously, the things people just leave around.

Alternate Entrance

Notice the large red container to your left. There is just enough room between the brick wall and container for you to squeeze through leading to a security gate. Behind this gate will be a shotgun and some shotgun ammo as well as a ladder that leader that leads up into the facility. Take the stairs down to arrive near the office (details below).

Inside the Facility

Make your way to the nearby vent and pick up the credit chip just below it to net yourself 65 credits. Enter the nearby office, making sure to enter when the guard has exited the room. Follow this guard out of the room, suppress him, and hide his body in the office. Pick up the CyberBoost Energy Bar on the desk next to the computer monitor.

Computer: The computer contains security cameras for the facility which can be deactivated and allow you to pass them unnoticed. If you let Zeke Sanders go and rescue the hostage in the hostage situation he will give you the password to the computer prior to the mission. Otherwise the computer requires level 3 hacking.

Elevator Approach

At this point you have a couple of options in how you want to proceed to the elevator. One option is to proceed down the stairs towards the white barrels and spot the laser field to your right. Successfully hack the panel next to these lasers to disable them, opening up a pathway past a few guards and a camera towards the elevator. Just be sure to take these guards out silently and remain undetected from the camera or you'll be overwhelmed by reinforcements.

The other approach would be to sneak along the concrete dividers towards the single patrolling guard. Suppress him and enter through the doorway pictured above to find a floor vent. Enter through this vent and take the ladder down to ground level that can lead you right to the elevator -- but watch out for more guards and the camera in front of the elevator controls. This is the fastest and most efficient approach to the elevator.

If you elected to take the ladder up after entering the floor vent described above, this will give you a height advantage point to eliminate the snipers patrolling above and give you the means to take out each of the guards below -- if you're trying to take out as many enemies as possible, this might be the best route for you. If you make your way down to the office bellow where the camera is outside (you may have passed this office earlier if you hacked the laser field from earlier and took care of the guards). You'll find some good loot like an ammo capacity upgrade kit, a P.E.P.S. energy pack, and a 35 credit chip.

F.E.M.A. Facility Basement

Whichever of the routes listed above you took to get to the elevator, you're now on your way down into the heart of the facility. Leave the elevator and take cover behind the crates to avoid detection from the guards and the mech. Wait for the guards to split up and then suppress the one closest to you while the mech is not near your location. Hide this body, make your way to the red doors to your right, and ascend the staircase while avoiding the camera's detection.

Once you get to the top of the stairs spot the wooden boxes. Move the top box to reveal some stun gun darts and a stun gun as well. Go through the red doors and remain in cover to avoid detection from the guard patrols and make your way to the control booth to the south. If you have to suppress any of them, make sure you too it quickly and silently to avoid being caught.

Proceed through the red door out of the control room and look on the cleaning cart to pick up a 40 credit chip. Continue down the corridor and into a new control room. Pick up the ammunition case under the computer terminal. Leave this room and you'll hear one of the guard leaders explaining that the team is moving out. Stay in cover and move across to the other side of the room towards the red door that has a camera in front of it. Take out the camera, proceed through the door, and down the stairs.

Reload Speed Weapon MOD - In the small room with a security hub in it you will notice 2 boxes against a wall covering the bottom shevles of a shelf. Move the boxes and you will find a Reload Speed Weapon Mod on the second last shelf down.

When you get into the hallway be aware of the security cameras that are on the hallway. Sneak by them or disable them by using the Stun Gun you picked up earlier. Explore the nearby hospital rooms and locker room lockers for some loot like painkillers, stop worm software, credits, and ammunition. and continue into the elevator to travel down to the ground floor. Once there, traverse through this facility towards the waypoint and you'll enter your first boss battle.

Boss Battle: Barrett

65.jpg

Barrett has three core attacks that you need to avoid: Machine gun, grenades, and his melee attack. You can avoid the melee attack by simply staying away from him, keeping yourself at a decent range. Now all you have to do is move from cover to cover along the pillars and cement barracades to make yourself a harder target for Barrett to hit.

Depending on how you've upgraded your character your approach to attacking Barrett will change. If you happened to have picked up a rocket launcher earlier in the game, simply equip that and unload on him until he's dead.

Our approach was a little more subtle than that. Notice how there are a sufficient amount of red barrels and gas canisters in this room? As we were moving around this room and making ourselves a hard target for Barrett to hit, we got in close and shot him once with the stun gun. This renders himself frozen for a few seconds, long enough to grab a red barrel (or gas canister) and fling it at Barrett causing some explosive damage.

There is also a significant amount of ammo and other weapons on top of some crates in some of these side rooms. Utilize all of these strategies we've listed above and Barrett will fall in battle, starting a cut-scene, and rewarding you with The Bull Achievement/Trophy as well as 2,500 XP.

Another easy way is to shoot Barrett in the head 5 times with the sniper rifle. You can pick one up in the F.E.M.A. Facility basement from one of the enemies on the catwalk above when you reach the room with the turrett.

READER 1 - I hit him with the stun gun from behind the pillar to your right. Turn around, threw one gas canister at him. Ran down, picked up the first Red container, then the second one. I stunned him again hiding behind the concrete barriers. Then just let loose with the shotgun.
