Grasshopper Manufacture set its E3 stall with this look at upcoming technicolour undead bothering sim Lollipop Chainsaw, and it's seemingly a game of two halves.
The first is the combo-based crowd violence action (complete with 'Sparkle Hunting' instant kill moves) that we'd expect from the No More Heroes developer. The second is the story of a killer cheerleader, complete with eye-watering dialogue (our current favourite line being a newly-zombified jock's cry of "swallow my fist like tuna, bitch!"), that we'd expect from the team behind Shadows of the Damned.
Basically, this is definitely a Grasshopper game and that can only be a good thing. Realise for yourself below.

Already preordered this, for some reason, I think it'll be one of those underdog games like Shadows of the Damned and Vanquish, plus it features cheerleaders in short skirts and round booty, so what more can a guy want .

I loved Shadows of the Damned, and as soon as I was able I pre-ordered Lollipop Chainsaw. However, having seen the trailers and in game footage emerging over the past few weeks and days, I have now cancelled my pre-order. I really hope this game is good, and if the feedback from the fans says it is, then I will re-evalute my decision not to get it, but at the moment, going on what I've seen, I fear for this game.

Doesn't look as different as I'd hoped, just a hack'n'slash with less violence. Where's the dismemberments man?! The only ones I saw were spoiled by the bloody 'sparkle' kills!
