Hot on the heels of Amanita Design's revelation yesterday that Machinarium is so processor-intensive that it will only be playable on iPad 2 comes Telltale's admission that its upcoming Jurassic Park tie-in will be subject to the same restriction. While still without a release date, it's expected shortly after the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions which are expected on November 15.
Despite flashes of elegance, Telltale's recycled adventure lacks inspiration.
Studio raises $7 million from venture capitalists and its original investors; CEO Dan Connors says funds will help support upcoming releases. "We now find ourselves extremely well positioned with the Jurassic Park and The Walking Dead franchises to reach a very large audience," he said. "This financing will allow us to aggressively launch these franchises worldwide on multiple platforms simultaneously."
