Video Recap: Nintendo's E3 Press Conference

The final press conference of E3 was also the most mysterious. On Tuesday morning, Nintendo finally unveiled some of the launch titles for the Wii U in their presentation. Watch the video below as Game Informer's Ben Reeves and Kyle Hilliard share their thoughts on Pikmin 3, the new Mario games, and the open-world Lego game.

  • Agreed
  • I think Nintendo Land is cool. I also like the line up so far and hope more is shown tomorrow during their game jam thing.
  • ...so...yeah...not such a great conference...
  • I thought this year's E3 was average. The best conference would have to be Ubisoft, then Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, etc. God EA's conference was terribly boring. I am still very excited for the Wii U. Regardless of the usual haters, in my opinion, it looks like a fascinating console from Nintendo.
  • It's not that it was bad as much as just nothing exciting. You'd think especially with a new console there would have been more to make people excited for it.

  • Nintendo!

  • It was only second to sony

  • Tim walking in eating a fruit cup or whatever was amazing. and the jump high five. awesome.

  • I love Tim. In addition, I think that Nintendo's conference seems worse in my memory just because they ended with Nintendo Land. Up until that point, the conference was actually quite good, but the ending stained it.
  • Ben, how about you talk to Nintendo and make a new Super Mario Bros. movie with Kyle and Ben as Mario and Luigi?

I can't believe that Ben didn't even want to talk about Nintendo Land.
  • well put. well put indeed. This basically sums it all up

  • So then I didn't miss anything xp

  • BEST. ENDING. EVER. And I love how Tim just randomly showed in the middle of the video and high fived Ben. XD

On topic, I agree with pretty much everything you guys said. Nintendo started off strong, but they put way too much focus into Nintendo Land, and even teased us at the end by just showing more of it.

  • Game industry ehh? I think there is potential for the system but their conference just wasn't exciting. They did a good join the beginning by quickly brushing past all the entertainment options and than just focusing on games but then they really went downhill by introducing some of the most lackluster new titles like Nintendo Land. Pikmin looks great and is likely to be a great title for the system but right now I just want a little more from them before I commit to buying one.

  • ok, anyone knows who is streaming or will be updating from the round table?

    Oh and btw. http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/8040/nintendoe32012.jpg

  • NINTENDO! *high-five freeze frame*

  • Not to say the videos are bad or anything.... But I rather read articles. I seem to get more info and retain it from reading than just hearing things.

  • This video, unlike the Nintendo press conference, had a great and entertaining ending.

  • Looks great

  • Tim just wanders in halfway through, that was priceless. I wasn't too disappointed by it, 3rd party stuff looks pretty cool and Pikmin 3 actually has my interest (never played the other 2)
