At E3 2012, Sony president Shuhei Yoshida has moved to reassure Team Ico fans that The Last Guardian is still heading to PS3, despite its troubled development.
"The team is back in Tokyo is working hard, and there are some technical difficulties that the team is focused on right now," he told Eurogamer. "That's why we don't have an update."
In February, Yoshida admitted that the game was in the process of being scrapped and rebuilt. Santa Monica studio is currently helping out with the project. Fumito Ueda left Team Ico late last year, but remains on the project in a freelance capacity, and has vowed to see the game's development through to the end.
