Homosexual relations are third on the list with 81.3 per cent. More than half of respondents would never accept public littering, traffic violations, rudeness, and adultery. Conversely, less than two-in-five respondents express strong objections to travelling in public transit without a ticket, abortion, becoming an informant, jumping the queue, and premarital sex.

Ukraine gained its independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. On that same year, the country decriminalized homosexuality.

In November 2004, Ukrainian lawmakers amended the country’s abortion legislation, reducing the period when a woman can choose to terminate a pregnancy from 28 weeks of gestation to 22 weeks.
