Check Out 4 Minutes Of The Amazing Spider-Man Movie

I wasn't excited about the possibility of a fourth Spider-Man movie until a friend told me that Kirsten Dunst wasn't going to be in it. That bombshell of red-headed knowledge changed everything. I'll now be in theaters on day one (July 3) to see how the web swinger fairs in a Dunst-free world.

Sony Pictures has just released four-minutes of footage from the film on its YouTube page. Be warned: This footage isn't of one scene. It plays out like a mega trailer, and shows more than I thought I'd see of The Lizard (the big bad in this movie), and Spider-Man in action.

  • That trailer was better than all three of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies. Am I the only one who thought that those movies were terrible?
  • I'm very excited for the film, but I'm afraid that they've been revealing far too much in these trailers. I'm stealing this from someone on YouTube, but I feel like we're able to piece the entire movie together just from what we've already seen.

  • At first I was super skeptical about this, Spider-Man 3 really killed the web head for me.  But I'm starting to get very excited for this movie, I think they're doing enough right with Parker creating his own webs, that it's going to be awesome.

  • I don't want to watch the trailer. Too scared things will get spoiled for me! D:

  • The scene shown with the kid in the car has more emotional resonance than all three of the past Spidey films.
  • This seems like it's going to follow the animated series more closely. Now I want to watch the show again. I think I have some of it on dvd. . . somewhere.

  • I'm really excited for this film. I like Raimi's Spider-Man films (1 and 2 at least), but this one definitely seems to tap further into the real personality of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. He's got the comedy and smart ass personality of Spidey down and the effects look great. Here's to hoping it rocks.

  • Hopefully, it becomes a good film of the summer.

  • The thing that bothers me is that Gwen never finds out Peters identity and Gwens dad does and he supports spider-man while gwen doesnt in the comics.......it just bothers me alot and also Lizard Man isnt even really a bad guy per say hes kinda like the hulk he cant help when he transforms but hes a really a good guy his alter ego is the bad one

  • The Force is strong with this reboot!.

  • I'm just to very excited about this movie.  I've seen several of the trailers, and it's just not doing it for me.

  • I sure hope this starts The Ultimate Alliance, Marvel made the Avengers(which was an amazing movie. Saw it twice. And I don't see movies twice.), so they should do this.

  • Wow, I'm shocked... This is looks like something I want to see.

  • kirsten dunst is a b*tch. you can feel her b*tch vibes all over the third movie, thus, suckage.
  • This movie is gonna be sweet as hell and will provide a nice reboot that was sorely needed!

  • This one's looking pretty good!

  • I have mixed feelings for this. I haven't seen them for a while, but I know that I really liked the Riami movies when I was younger. I'll have to go back and possibly ruin my memories of them and then maybe I'll be more excited for this one. I'll probably be seeing it either way though.

  • lol I got fooled, I thought this was the first 4 minutes of the movie haha
