Along with confirming the revised Wii U controller, Nintendo also revealed a new Wii U Pro controller that includes analog sticks, and trigger and face buttons.

No price or release date was announced at this time. We'll likely hear more about it at E3 this week during Nintendo's press conference.

I'm fine with it looking like a 360 controller, since I really like the 360 controller.

I like it. Wonder if the button placement was just to not get into trouble given how close it looks to the 360 controller, though at least the D-pad will be better. I'm sure I'll get used to it. It also has it's own battery pack, which is another bonus.

The 360 has what I consider the most comfortable controller I've ever used, so I'm okay with this design.

I imagine it would be weird to play a game and have to constantly reach for the face buttons that you use all the time. I guess they just didn't want it to look exactly like the 360 controller.
