What's better than blasting with two thumbsticks? Blasting with a touch screen! Check out deathmatch from Resistance: Burning Skies.
someone needs to figure out how long u can play this on 3g before your bandwidth is used up (i have a wi-fi, but could migrate).
Game looks awesome though for the first vita fps
KADESHERENOWq It really doesn't, especially when you compare it to other shooters, though not first person, like Unit 13 and Uncharted. It looks really bad and the review scores will reflect it here in a couple weeks. This game is not going to do well.
THA-TODD-BEAST Was i asking a question? No i dont think i was. Go tell someone who gives a shit
i hate watching gameplay videos with people that suck
I would buy this game. Even if it had no multiplay, looks like oodles of fun
What the heck? This looks weird. I thought it would be better than that.
@tr1n1tr1n1 it's annoying and disrispectful to spam everywhere, if you are going to say something say it but not spam
@shadowhunter0 thanks for letting me know that. I'll stop.
@tr1n1tr1n1 the problem with that is that advertising is against the rules anyways the game looks awesome and I can't wait to play it
@josecer That's what you call self promotion my friend. It didn't give you a virus, so you should be fine
@tr1n1tr1n1 GO AWAY with your stupid song!

Well it would have been nice if there was actually a kill in the video... But besides that, unfortunately Burning Skies doesn't look like it has much going for it to me, besides the fact that its an FPS on the Vita. If anything, the single player would be the reason to get it, as it is with all Resistance games. (Except FoM, multiplayer was great in that game!)
Why the hate? Looks solid. That player kinda sucked though. Definitely looks like the best FPS ever on a handheld, and should be pretty fun. Are the touch controls shoehorned? A lot of Vita games have done so far, but I think in the case of this game not too much. The Secondary fire options have to be mapped to something. As do knifing and grenades. Do not forget the Vita has 4 less buttons than a regular controller. The back touch pad is used to initiate running by double tapping, so that's not an option for secondary fire options. Touch screen is pretty much the only choice. Except maybe the d-pad, but I'm unsure if the whole d-pad is used up for other functions. Tapping the screen is a fine enough way for the secondary fire and is pretty fast from the looks of it. Is it any worse than tapping the d-pad to go in to secondary fire mode and then aiming and shooting to fire like COD? Not really. In fact it's quicker.
burgeg We'll see how "solid" it is when it releases here in a week and a half and completely bombs with critics. Don't kid yourself. The game looks really, really bad.
disappointing
I admit the whole touch screen gimmick is getting pretty annoying on everything except for my smartphone, but this game seems like decent fun. It can give us an entertaining multiplayer experience while we wait for something aimed more towards the hardcore market.
Well if Vita wasn't a flop already..........
My God. It looks like touch screen controls have really been shoehorned in. Look at that terrible, terrible HUD. I was actually excited for this one. You tap to shoot drones, and then use the screen to steer it? COME ON! Use some freaking sense developers! What's your target audience, kids who want to use a bunch of gimmicky features, OR GAMERS! THIS IS A SHOOTER! CATER TO YOUR AUDIENCE! COME ON!
You mean what's about 50x WORSE than using two thumbsticks. Touch controls FTL.
