A spot-billed duck and her chicks are spotted in the Shibaura Canal in Minato Ward, Tokyo, earlier this week. The chicks, hatched in a man-made nest that is part of an ongoing ward project, are the latest born there since the effort began in 2007. According to Minato Ward, chicks have hatched there every year since the nest was built.
