I really thought this game was going to be played in more dimensions. But it's just a linear cover shooter with some anti-grav stuff (Looks like Bulletstorm) and once and a while you transition onto walls. I was hoping for something a little more mind-bending.

This guy sucks at his own game. Why did he keep going into/out of zoom? Frustratingly nauseating. The voice acting for the girl was horrible...it's clearly a grown woman talking in a high pitched voice. Awful. The rest of the game seems so-so.

finaly a game who dont ask 60 bucks for a 12 hour game, i maybe gonna give this a try as soon i have some more info about the game. This now playing was to short to decide.  But until now it looks good enough for 25 bucks

Well atleast the characters don't look like steroid junkies like gears.

Nothing is original guys, every story/idea has been done before in SOME way... its how you tell it that makes it good. Honestly this looks nothing like Gears of War to me.. for one Gears of War is really ugly and everyone looks WAY to buff. Good game? Yes.... But its hard to compare it to this, where everyone is the size of a normal human being. As far as the story goes.. not seeing the connection on that ether.. I mean if we're saying everything with big monsters/aliens is a rip off from Gears of War or other past games then theres a long list... Mass Effect, Duke Nukem, Doom etc etc... This is like saying every first person shooter is a rip off of Call of Duty. Or saying Uncharted is a rip off from Tomb Raider.. simaler ideas, but not really alike when you get into it. Inspired or simaler ideas should not ring "rip off" in peoples minds. Give the game a chance guys, gamer to gamer, thats all I ask. I for one will probley rent this and buy it if I like it.

Can't help but feel this is an americanized version of a generic japanese 3rd person shooter

I read some of the comments before and when I started watching my reaction was along the lines of "this looks nothing like Gears! Well actually I guess that does and that does, but that's new. Oh but that looks like Gears, as does what they're doing and that action...' Loads of stuff is the same, from the look of the wrecked cars to the way they kick a door. But Gears is a good series so maybe this will be good too.

It gets 0 points for originality since anyone could mistake the game for Gears from a distance , they borrowed way too much. Hopefully the gravity stuff will set the game apart otherwise it just looks too generic.

I'm not one to criticise games for being similar but this really is just another Gears of War in every way. With an added antigravity effect.

Utterly uninspiring. Surely it would've been better to demonstrate more of the powers which supposedly make this game different from all the others. And why did the enemy snipers all fall forwards off the building like in an old western? If I got shot in the chest by a sniper on the other side of the street I'm pretty sure I'd be on my ass, not doing a swan dive. But then again, this is Inversion.

am i the only one here who feels that the characters in this game has been cut and pasted in the gears world , same applies for Binary Domain

So, magic health regen and cover to allow console gamers to play an FPS with a controller and not die every 5 seconds and Cloud's swors attached to an assault rifle. Right.

So the walls EXPLODE spectacularly but that padded sofa just absorbs bullets like it's made out of 2 feet of concrete.

Ofcourse no one can create same stuff as Godfather or Goodfellas.. 

so please dont compare this to Gears or Uncharted... I think they are putting a lot of effort in this game. And thank god they have this as a 3rd person shooter and not FPS... then people would have compared it to COD and BF.I think you should just judge it without comparison.  Like that you will be able to enjoy and be entertained. I think its still in development phase... they will surely fix alot of stuff in it, and give it another round of polish

I am going to call it now, this game will have between a 65 and 70 on Metacritic. It will have a low score of 6 and a high of 7.5. I would probably be willing to bet on it.

Yeah does seem like a Gears clone :) But the game is alright

What a weird demo. They have this gravity gimmick that's supposed to be the thing with this game, and they're just barely showing one power after like 10 minutes. Based on this demo it looks very blase.

That mission failure is also pretty odd since you're not told you need to protect those two,. "Help the group push back the something or others." is all it says. There are no icons or anything above those guys. And it seemingly just fails you arbitrarily out of nowhere.

Also sound bugs with a couple of lines.

You can't lie down at the cover? When facing enemies that are a on a higher ground that would be very helpful. The way he was playing he was totally exposed.

Actually, when I first posted here, I wanted to write something about this game being rather similar to Gears of War.

But hey, I am not to consider imitation a bad thing - especially if what is being imitated is something that works.
