Yep, I totally agree with you bro. People complain about these kinds of announcements from COD games yet they buy it. LOL...

This is just adding to a game, bringing more variety...and it's free. Yet people still find stupid reasons to complain. Get real.

1 vs. 1 doesn't interest me at all. It'd basically be a game of who-sees-who-first. 

2 vs. 2, however, does sound interesting. A sniper/spotter team sounds nice....

POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!  Let's see here IW, I'm sure you are quite aware that this is a rebuilding year for you guys, your least proud moment in the history of Call of Duty, when you think all flash and nothing in the form of the addictive play style we used to love about COD.  Now I take you plan to continue beating the dead horse by boasting about this all-fantastic game mode where you get to play against only one or two other players!  Go ahead, enjoy your time on vacation, sipping pina coladas, hanging out on the beach and crystal-clear ocean water, thinking everyone is going to buy your product regardless.  But lemme tell you something, the time is now to SHAPE UP and announce content that people are ACTUALLY GOING TO COMMEND YOU FOR, because it is only a matter of TIME before we all smart up and your once-proud organization will line up the walls of bankruptcy court.  Just as you guys became fed up with Atari 30 years ago and left to start your pioneering company, the time may soon be that we the gamers will be fed up and send YOU to the gaming graveyard.

i see very little good things and a huge amount of bad things coming from this             ( campers, boosters, etc.)

The only FPS games in which 1v1 is fun are Quake style deathmatch games like UT and Halo, imo.

why would anybody ever want a one on one match in cod?  an hour of epic corner camping sounds like such a thrill!

sledge hammer ruined mw. the maps suck and they focused way too much time into the perk system. fail! Rip cod. Activision needs to step it up. Im tired of the same stuff. They just polish a terd, release it with some extra features and call it a game. I myself woud like to see a graphic overhal and some snipper maps. Who else is tired of getting quick scoped by 12yrs and shot in the back from long range with a striker? hmmmmmm

Yeah right!! Lol! A 1 vs. 1 match will take all day especially when most people camp in COD. Each player would just stay in one spot, and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait. Lol!!

these cod haters are so fucking childish why come here to hate if u don't like it u don't of to come on the page to hate it ok just grow up for once because call of duty still have their loyal fans such as myself and u cant compare bf3 with cod because they are 2 different games one is  fast paste arcade shooter with its own unique skills and one is team tactical and if u all gonna compare over powered perks and kill streaks and weapon in cod u will of to compare the over powered vehicles in bf3 so they both have their ups and down so stop hating and enjoy the fucking games.

damn i know BF3 and the frostbite engine is a hard act to follow but how could they release a game in the same FPS genre looking like this? and a year later?? what did they do in all that time?

Anyone who doesn't believe that the MW3 map packs have more value then the MW2 ones are crazy. For $15, MW2 gave us 3 new maps and 2 rehashed. MW3 is giving us 3 new maps, 2 spec ops missions, a new mode and 4 maps with that mode in the content collection. And they really don't make you buy this, they're giving you 2 face off maps for free, and if you decide you really like it and still play multiplayer on the regular, go ahead and by the content collection 2. People seriously hate on COD just for the sake of hating on COD. To me it seems they've finally figured out their DLC. Many DLC packs from all games are starting to hit that $15 so you can't just single out Call of Duty. 

When are we going to see a tank sim on

Forget COD, its almost time to join a crew and bust some heads in Max Payne 3s innovative and astounding multiplayer! 

Face off mode is the kind of mode that will probably be good if you have a friend that is willing to play properly. I don't see it working in public matches. Although it is essentially Cage Match from Mw1. I'll play the free stuff, and as much as I want the collection packs, I'm not paying even more than I already have for the core game (bearing in mind the pre-order prices of CoD are already higher than other games anyway). And I chuckled a bit when he said Call of Duty has the best community in the industry. I like the game and all, but the community is just a joke.  

Remeber last time Call of Duty had a 1v1 mode? Cage match from MW2? Boosters everywhere!

why are there so many call of duty games on one gaming system.

I like the bf3 fan boys and the cod fan boys,,,,,,,Bf3 weapons are shoot rubber bullets and feel like air soft guns...2 guns kinda Kill like they should........cod horrible and unispiring maps on mw3 and spawn kills from bad map design.........both games sucked compared to there past incarnations
