Mark Hamill Returns To Joker Role After Claiming Retirement

Mark Hamill will appear as the Joker in a DC Universe Online expansion, despite saying he was retiring the character back in October on twitter.

It's possible that the dialogue for, "The Last Laugh" DLC may have been recorded before Hamill announced his retirement, but I like to believe that he just couldn't stay away.

You can find out more about the DLC by clicking here.

  • Awesome!!

  • This is hitting Michael Jordan and Brett Favre levels of indecision at this point.
  • I think he realized no one else could do the Joker justice, this (hopefully) is great news!.
  • I just hope it's some REALLY good material, because the end of Arkham City seemed like a perfect note to end his reign as the Clown Prince on. Almost as if it was written just for that purpose. I guess we'll see. I'm gonna have to head back into the world of DCUO to see this one.
  • That's great news, but it might have been a better idea to get more information before you came up with the article title.
  • Yeah, I don't think anyone will complain about that.

  • Haha, guess he just can't quit it. Not that that's a bad thing at all.

  • You can't have Arkham without Mark Hamill.

  • At first I was excited. DCU :|
  • liar! but i'm not complaining

  • I really wish he just came back, because like the article says, he may have done this recording work in advance.

  • based on how bat the joker in young justice is, we should figure out some kind of eternal life for him.

  • I'm not gonna complain! Mark Hamill as the Joker is always great. ^_^

Too bad it's for DCU though...

  • QUICK! SOMEONE CUR THE ANGELIC CHOIR!!!!
  • DLC before game was announced? What a shocker.
  • AWESOME

  • i'm sure it was recorded before the retirement announcement.
