dunno why people are hating this game so much .. the true crime series is brilliant and activision is absolutely daft to think this wasnt a good game ...first day purchase for me

Shenmue please. Looks like Shenmue took a dump and this came out.

Atmospheres nice and gritty just the way I like it, the thing is the majority of games nowadays is inspired by a prior game or another some resemble the original more than others but in the end its the overall quality that matters and I sure hope Sleeping Dogs is as high of a quality game as the trailers show it to be.

Finally someone combined Yakuza and GTA to make something almost as original.

I was so bummed when I heard that TC: HK was cancelled. Long live Sleeping Dogs! It's just good to know that this game will actually get a release.

a bit of Bruce's shadows..more morden like 98% almost like real mordern HK's life style, can wait to play.

i hope its like the original true crime acting like a cop like from responding to calls and pulling people over or something like that cause we need a cop game

this seems to be alright.

I feel a bit sad.. Projects like this that are coming out surprisingly well should have a bigger finance. Some times being afraid of puting a bit more money into a future good title isn't a bad thing. Besides, in some cases that really is the heart of the problem, game designing companies dont recieve enough money and the final product apears to be unfinished.

As long as I get to see my home get represented accurately... then sure... But this doesn't look anything like the actual Hong Kong lmao

Lets hope the graphics engine gets a substantial update.

Whoo hoo.... reminds me of Grand Theft Auto but with martial arts! This is gonna be on my list of games to get for sure.

Looks good. It'll be interesting to see what they do with "Hong Kong." Seeing how GTA V most likely won't be coming out this year, this will have to sate my open world appetite. It would be interesting to see if they included some of the things True Crime had in it as well, such as arresting people and choosing to keep the evidence or turn it in for loot and the upgradable weapon system was a welcomed addition, IMO.

In some strange and very distant way this reminds me of Shenmue :? Must be the location!

As a resident of Hong Kong i'd love to see this game succeed, but it doens't look much like HK and I really hope they manage all the final tweaks and polish they need before they release it. Gameplay looks good, but visuals could use that little bit more attention. Good luck with the game.

Just before the guy said it, I was thinking 'this looks like GTA 4 mixed with Yakuza 3' LOL. I never played any of the True Crime games but I love Yakuza and GTA. I'll give this game a try. It looks cool.

this looks awesome, reminds me of some of Chow Yun Fat's old movies, I love over the top action movies and this looks like its pretty much a game version of those.
