It's one of the best platformers I've ever laid hands on, and it's a shame that I waited this long to play it. How this game didn't top more lists than it did as possible GOTY material in 2011 is beyond me, because it certainly deserves all the accolades it's received thus far (and more!). I don't toss out the A+ often (in fact, this is a first), but Origins totally fits the bill of what an A+ experience is all about.

Now those very same visuals, and that very same campaign has been placed on a PlayStation Vita cart, and it's actually shocking how well it's fared in translation.

Rayman Origins embodies everything right and good about 2D platformers. If you want to be reminded why this genre took gaming by storm in the 80's and 90's, or you simply want to play a rare, honest to goodness video game, pick this one up ASAP.

  2. Best. Vita. Game. Especially the graphics...holy cow. Beautifully executed. This is the must buy game for the Vita that anyone can enjoy. Its platforming brilliance on the same level as Mario, and thats coming from a Nintendo fan. Expand

  3. The game is great but the Vita is not the platform you should get it on. The best aspect of this game is the multiplayer, which is IMMENSELY fun, but even though with the wireless technology of the Vita, a multiplayer feature would've been possible and efficient, the game has been rushed out for the Vita's release and cuts that feature. Sad. Play it on a home console. Expand
