Very much yay. Seeing as Blizzard do not make bad games, and it's frickin' Diablo 3, I'd say it's a must-buy.

Lol, well from the sounds of it your not alone, never played it myself ;-)
Bullshit aside, Diablo 3 sounds like a big deal from all the chatter from the pc geeks. You wanna miss out on that? Jump into the zeitgeist man!! At least if you hate it, you'll be able to bitch from a point of authority :-D

Orbit said it.
It is a big event, and it is the return of a big series, and it is a Blizzard game (so you know that at least the engineering will be top notch) but ultimately it depends 100% on whether you think you're gonna like it or not, same as everything else.
It quite obviously isn't going to revolutionize the genre, so I doubt that you're looking at a classic, so much as a neatly constructed coop game.
If you're like OG and you need everything to be deep and thought out, then maybe you should wait for the reviews/impressions and see how you feel, but if you're jonesin' for an ARPG with an online focus, then I think it stands to reason that this won't be the worst you can get.
It is expensive though, and it does have the always-on pseudo-DRM.
For my part I think the next big thing is going to be Krater. I'm super impressed with it. I think Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 are going to be good games, but I don't think they're half as ambitious as Grim Dawn or Krater.

I want it, but I hate the idea of supporting the Acti-Blizz pricing scheme, even though I can get it for more than £10 less than what they're asking. If they sell 3 milion or whatever the prediction is for the 1st month they'll use it as justification for retaining that scheme.
Also my captcha is "anally tarrantella" that sounds weird and gross and spider-related.

I'm not sure that's the best reason for not getting it. At least Activision slaps those 10 dollars in your face right where you can see it.
Most other publishers get their 10 dollars from online passes, or stripped DLC, or junky Deluxe editions.
If I was to buy based on what was ethical or not, I wouldn't be buying videogames. The people who sell them are mostly scum.
I could understand being offended by something like the DRM or the fact that they've taken a different approach to the two previous games, but at least personally, 10 euro isn't going to keep me from a game I want, even if it makes people I dislike a bit wealthier.

"My captcha is anally tarantalla"?... Wut?!
If that's something Diablo related and you feel comfortable putting it out there in public... Then yeah, defo get the game... You freak :-P

@everyone who complain about price. After a decade of waiting for another Diablo game, if you were a fan honestly you wouldn't give a damn, still I'm sure many retailers are selling it under 60 euros. GAME has it for 49 euros it's even on their website, amazon also amazon has it for 45 euros, and if you look in the places you usually look you might even find it cheaper.
So, I'm sure you wasted money on many other things, including games in your life that were an utter disappointment, spend this 60 with the ease of mind cause IMO it's a 60 euros well spent.

I never played the previous Diablo games so that sentiment is lost on me.
I might see about doing the 99p trade-in dealy with game.
