The Brothers of Lancaster Lodge No 160 were honored with an Award of Achievement "For most Imporved Performance in Opening and Closing Lodge and Proper Reception and Introduction of the District Deputy Grand Master" signed by Most Worshipful T.E. Gene Carnes, Past Grand Master of Texas Masons.
The award was presented during the February 2012 stated lodge meeting by 2012 District Deputy Grand Master R.W. Larry Powers and 2011 R.W. Diristrict Deputy Grand Master Ricky Brown both DDGMs are from Dristict 14H of the Most Grand Lodge of Texas.

Wednesday, 15 February 2012 - 39th Masonic District (San Antonio Area) Masters, Wardens & Secretaries Association monthly meeting/dinner. Come dine with us as our junior Past Grand Master, R.W. Gene Carnes provides a retrospective of his year in the Grand East and the service he has provided to Texas Freemasonry. Invitations are open to all Masons and their guests. RSVP's are required to ensure adequate seating for The Little Red Barn Steakhouse. Social starts at 6:00PM with dinner served at 6:30. Brethren interested in attending can contact me. The deadline for RSVP's is 2:00PM Sunday, 12 Feb 2012.

Helotes Lodge #1429 will host brother Rite Worshipful Joe Estlack's 50 year pin on November 7. Most Worshipful Gene Carnes will do the presentation. Joe is currently serving as Grand Tyler. Dinner will be served at 6 P.M. with the presentations at 7 PM. All of Joe's friends and brothers are invited to show and wish him well.
