The 5th Annual Young County Masonic Lodge Scholarship Auction is just over two weeks away.  Scheduled for Saturday August 13th in Graham, TX, Young County Masons and their Wives are hard at work.  "We are gathering consignments, making flyers, and mailing information to past consignors and buyers", says Weldon Floyd, Auction Chairman.  The mailing list in just five years has grown to over 600+ buyers and consignors.

On September 30, 2011 the Grand Lodge Jr. Warden will present an 70 Year Service Award to Brotheer Marven England. The ceremony will be held at Haqrdeman lodge #179, Luling TX. There will be a meal provided at Noon with the ceremony to follow. Brother England was the Sr. Warden in 1941-42 vand Worshipful Master of the lodge in 1942-43. All mason are welcome to the open ceremony of the for Brother England

The Warden's Retreat scheduled for September 9th-11th has been canceled due to a lack of registrants. Those interested in attending a Warden's Retreat can register for the remaining retreats held in Corpus Christi (August 5th-7th) or Waco (August 26th-28th).
