Brethren,

Welcome to the Grand Lodge of Texas website. You will see that it is very full of great information regarding our gentle fraternity. You will also note that the calendar contains many of the important events that are coming and I hope that you can attend some of them. We are to have 16 Grand Master Conferences in the first half of the year and during the second half, we will continue the 2011 Masonic Workshop program with a new set if situations to solve.


 Again, welcome to our website and I look forward to seeing all somewhere in this great State of Texas.

Please come join us Saturday November 5, 2011 for our fall Fish Fry Fundraiser, along with our presenting Masonic Anniversary Awards.
 
At 10:00AM we will present 19 - 25 Year Awards, 5 - 50 Year Awards, 2 - 60 Year Awards,3 - 65 Year Awards, and 1 - 70 Year Award. That is 1110 years of Masonry in this group, so don't miss a chance to talk and thank them, for their service. 
 
From 11:00AM to 2:00PM we will be serving an "ALL YOU CAN EAT" lunch for $9.00, several different types of delicious fish entrees, with beans, potatoes, cole slaw and the best hush puppies in town. Desserts will finish this great meal, so come and spend a great time supporting our Building Program, with your brethren, families and friends.

Athens Lodge No. 165 Scholarship BBQ Fundraiser

Athens Lodge No. 165 is holding its 2nd Annual BBQ sandwich Fundraiser on Friday, October 21 from 11 AM until 2 PM. A BBQ sandwich, drink and chips will be provided for a doation of $5.00. To go meals will be prepared also. This Fundraiser benefits our Scholarship Fund for two Athens High School students each year. The Lodge is located at 2030 US Hwy 175E, just past the Athens City limits sign on the right.
