2012 Photo Contest, sponsored by The Texas History Committee of the Grand Lodge of Texas.
The “Photograph Contest” is underway for 2012.
We’ll soon be heading into spring, grab your cameras and start, Clicking -Snapping and Popping! You may submit up to 3 photos that you have shot in the past three years.
Please do not resubmit any photos previously submitted to the GL photo contest.
There will be three categories to enter; Landscape, Portrait (person(s) posed) and Snapshots (open concept). All shot in Texas, please!
Each category will reward a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Plus there will be a Best of Show winner.
We will also have a very Special Category this year …Lodge Altars. There will be only one winner in this special category!
We want shots of: Texas scenes, Masons, lodges, events, good family fun shots. Just about anything that you desire to photograph.
Important data:
Please submit a detailed description of each photo along with your: photos, your name, lodge name and number, where the photo(s) were shot and why? What kind of camera and lens used.
The deadline is September 1, 2012. (cut-off date).
This year the judges will be: Dick Brown, Erik Briseno, Jerry Smith, Rob Kyker, Jim Dougherty and J. Darrell Kirkley.
