Battlefield 3 – First Double XP Multiplayer Weekend runs May 12 – May 13

EA has announced a Double XP Multiplayer Weekend for Battlefield 3 which starts tomorrow, May 12 at 12.01AM PDT and ends on May 13 at 11.59PM PDT. Players can earn double XP in matches across all maps and modes and accrued across all ranked servers and matches. At the conclusion of each match, players total points for the round will be reflected in the end of round screen and classified as Additional Point.

@both – It never said in the PR. I will look further into it. I got busy is all.

EDIT: “All soldiers in the Battlefield 3 brigade will earn double XP.” So, yes.

@5, the only reason to farm points in BF3 is unlocks, and the majority of players already have them now. All this will do is artificially inflate the spm of the players who can afford the time to whore the game all weekend.
