IMAGINE. CREATE. INSPIRE.

That’s what writers strive to do. Whether I am writing children’s picture books, articles, or blog posts, I keep these three words as my mantra.

But the thing nobody tells you about writing for a living is that a great deal of the work that must be done is NOT writing — marketing, social media, researching  publishing options, determining submission strategies are just a few examples.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed trying to find the balance between the creation and the business side of writing? Are you confused about which social media networks to join? Do you need support and motivation to improve a picture book manuscript or to put your BIC (Butt in Chair) and write?

I can help. Before I began writing exclusively for a living, I came from a business background. I actually enjoy the business side of writing, and helping other writers inspires me.

In fact, I have so much to share with writers that I started a monthly newsletter so I could fill it with the best information I find on the business and creative issues writers face. I simply can’t write enough blog posts to share everything, so the newsletter is my solution. Click here to sign up (I will never share your email address).

Thank you for visiting! I hope you’ll find something here that will help you in your journey as a writer.

Then, when you are finished, go back to doing what writers do best.
