WRITING TOWARDS HEALING: RECONNECT WITH THE WORLD THROUGH WRITING

with Fiona Robyn, founder of "Writing Our Way Home"

"For about six weeks now, I’ve been ‘meeting’ a group of incredible women every other week to discuss our stories. I have been guided by their feedback and encouragement. Although we have never actually met, I almost feel like I know these women because of their writing: their words are brave, honest and magical. I am in awe of their writing and the stories they have to tell."

Learn the art of the “momoir” in this exciting, new online class.  The class is aimed at moms of all ages and stages who are interested in learning how to translate their personal experiences and memories of motherhood into words. Whether you want to write as a keepsake for yourself or your children, or whether you want to start a blog, improve your blog or get published in a newspaper, magazine or book, this course will help guide you, inspire you and get you writing.

Reading and writing assignments have been designed with the busy mom in mind. The class is very manageable, no matter how heavy your mother-load.

She is the editor of the bestselling anthology, Between Interruptions: Thirty Women Tell the Truth about Motherhood and started teaching writing to offer mothers a chance to discover their voice and the confidence necessary to believe that the seemingly mundane details of our day-to-day lives matter - and make compelling stories. Her classes not only give women confidence and community, but pave the way for a journey of self-discovery unlike any other.

The Editor Is In: A Coaching Series for Writers on Overcoming the Hurdles on the Road to Publishing

with BROOKE WARNER, DEBORAH SIEGEL, AND YOU!

$225 for eight sessions, four pre-recorded webinars, and four live Q&A sessions with Brooke

October 19—running eight weeks on Wednesdays (excluding Thanksgiving week) at 1pm ET.

How much exposure is too much exposure? How do you balance platform-building and networking against the actual task of writing your book? How do you know that you’re ready to shop—and is there a danger in going out with your book too soon? And how do you deal with those nasty gremlin voices that reinforce your fears of failure and rejection?

Join editor and writing coach Brooke Warner and author Deborah Siegel as they discuss and tackle common fears and unknowns facing writers who want to publish.

In eight sessions tailored specifically to deal with the nagging questions and concerns writers face during and after writing a book, Brooke and Deborah bare all, inviting you behind-the-scenes insight into the process—including the doubts and what-if scenarios—that all writers experience in their journey toward publication.

In this series, you’ll gain practical know-how and tools that will help you realize your publishing dreams, as well as the intangible but extremely freeing understanding that you’re not the only one feeling weighted down by THE UNKNOWNS.

Write your way home: give yourself Writing Towards Healing.

After a period of difficulty, whether physical or emotional, give yourself the gift of Writing Towards Healing.

Sometimes, life gets tricky. We might have been feeling below par for no apparent reason, or we might have been sent challenge after challenge without respite.

During these periods we can easily lose touch with that quiet voice inside us - the voice that knows exactly what we need to be doing.

This course will help you clear the space to begin the healing process. It will help you start listening to your quiet voice again.

Through a combination of written exercises, reading and discussion, the Writing Towards Healing e-course will take you on a journey through kindness, listening, acceptance and reconnection.

You’ll clear a space for reflection and ask yourself questions about how you currently live. You’ll receive encouragement from me as your course leader, and from your fellow course participants.

Nature Lover

Where is my lover? I do not know. One day the universe will set our paths in motion, joining us together in a natural place. We will walk hand in hand, free from the tainted air, the paper-pushers with their speculative glances, and the artificial…See More
