Occupiers Demands Finally Spelled Out By One Of Their Own... They Want More Free Stuff...

By: Kevin_McGinty | Blog: Room 235

Now I get it. Evidently the rapes, murders, vandalism and general chaos that continue to surround the Occupy Wall Street kids and their little get togethers aren't the result of the protesters at all. That was all the work of the NYPD who sent rapists, alchoholics, and homeless people directly into their camps to disrupt things and discredit the honorable intentions of the occupiers themselves. Well, according to Occupy Organizer Harrison Schultz anyway.

Nancy Pelosi Lied Again? Say It Ain't So...

By: Kevin_McGinty | Blog: Room 235

VIEWER WARNING: TODAY'S VIDEOS SUGGEST THAT, HONEST NANCY PELOSI HAS BEEN A LITTLE LESS THAN HONEST AFTER ALL. IF YOU FIND SUCH A POSSIBILITY IMPOSSIBLE AND OFFENSIVE I'D SUGGEST MOVING ALONG THEN... Remember way back in 2006 when the Democrats regained control of the House and incoming Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi took to the podium and promised she'd lead the "most honest, most open and most ethical Congress in the history of this nation? I do.

Names and Places: Triple-A Style

By: Jeremy Deckard | Blog: View from the Upper Deck

I never know who or what may inspire my next blog. It might be an event, inspired by just one play in a game, a movie, a childhood memory or a voice in my head. I just never know. For this particular blog I have to give all of the credit to a co-worker of mine. This co-worker who is a regular reader told me one day: “I have no idea who most of the guys you are writing about are, but each blog is entertaining and interesting. I especially like it when you write about teams from small towns with crazy names.”

The New Conservative Jesus

By: Lucinda | Blog: Lucinda's Blog

TRADITIONAL VIEW OF JESUS:Jesus only got really ticked off once in the whole bible; when he tossed the moneychangers out of the temple. NEW AGE CONSERVATIVE VIEW OF JESUS:If you are prosperous on Earth, that means Jesus is smiling on your Rugged Individualism. If you are poor, it is a sure sign that Jesus is frowning on your reliance on handouts.

Respectful Citizens Show Example

By: rlynph | Blog: Heart of Topeka: People Who Care

In this time when hate and disrespect are the norm in politics, it's nice when politicians and citizens show a change and respect their leaders.  So many indiiduals say cruel, disrespectul things about President Obama and although I don't agree with everything he has done and I definitely don't agree with spending, I do agree that he is President and it's important to respect him.

Contra Mundum

God and the Supermoon

By: Contra Mundum | Blog: Genesis Station

If the night sky over Topeka is clear enough, you and I should be able to see the "Supermoon" as it rises over the city tonight, starting around 8:20 p.m. As reported in Phil Anderson's Capital-Journal article, tonight's full moon will be some 17,000 miles closer to earth, causing it to appear unusually large in the sky.  People across the nation will be looking upwards, if only for a few minutes, to check out Earth's closest neighbor.
