HERSONISSOS
We refer to Hersonissos as one but it consists of several small beaches and villages and the main tourist destinations of the area. Hersonissos consists of Limin Hersonisou (Port Hersonissos), Hersonissos, Koutouloufari, Piskopiano, Anissaras, Potamies, Avdou, Gonies and Kera at a distance of about 25 Km from Heraklion. Today is mostly famous for the beaches and the wild nightlife. If you are after the dancing clubs, lots of people and alcool, then Hersonissos is the place for you...
