Cambridge Computer Lab Ring is a not-for-profit independent members' association that campaigns on behalf of Cambridge computer scientists to build the Cambridge community in computing. It was launched in October 2002 to provide computer laboratory graduates with a lifetime benefit from their Cambridge degree. Membership has grown to almost 700.

The searchable directory - The Who's Who - contains the names, degree, college and year of graduation of all the 4,300 Lab graduates as well as the full profile of all members. You can search for volunteers who can give you careers advice, look for a fellow member in your town or country or for a contact in a particular company, industry or job function.

182 companies founded by Lab graduates and faculty have now been catalogued on the Hall of Fame; the most of any department. If you have a company to add to the list, please click here.

There are currently 28 jobs advertised on the Job Bulletin Board.
50 Ring members have volunteered to offer informal careers advice to other members.

The Ring has helped set up the Laboratory's Schools Visit Programme. If you would like to help student admissions by visiting your old school or a local school please contact the Ring office. It's very important that school teachers have up-to-date information on the course and that able students are encouraged to apply to Cambridge to read computer science.

The Ring has launched an on-line archive of Computer Lab seminars. This will provide Ring members with a regular connection to the technical seminars that take place in Cambridge and make a library of 100+ seminars an accessible resource.
