The PCR Retail Boot Camp is scheduled for Wednesday May 2nd 2012 at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London.
Free for retailers to attend, some 250 dealers are expected at the PCR Retail Boot Camp, with the list of key accounts being identified in conjunction with Event Partners.
Organised by Intent Media, publisher of PCR, it will provide a day of conference sessions, expo showcases and networking – all designed to help dealers improve their business.
Retailers and resellers will attend the PCR Retail Boot Camp by invitation only, ensuring that only the top 250 VIP PC and IT dealers will participate in the event.
In addition to the conference and expo, there will be a series of ‘Break-Out Sessions’ during the afternoon, giving suppliers and manufacturers the opportunity to present technical or service sessions with smaller groups of dealers.
Meanwhile, an after-show party, sponsored by VIP, will provide networking opportunities to round off the day’s events.
Dealers can register their interest in attending the event by emailing pcrbootcamp@intentmedia.co.uk.
Supporting the PCR Retail Boot Camp are Innergie (Headline Partner), Micro-P (Connected Home Partner), G Data, VIP Computers, Arctic, Westcoast, Lygo/Turtle Beach and EntaTech (Platinum Partners), plus AVG, AOC, Philips, Avance Technologies, Computers Unlimited, Koch Media, Autotask, Samsung, TP Link, Wasp, Synaxon and Realtime Distribution (Gold Partners).
CompTIA and Network Group are also Associate Partners of the event.
Among the confirmed speakers for the event will be The Retail Champion, Clare Rayner, who will share with delegates 'The ten steps to retail success', Micro-P's head of independent retail Mike Harris will help retailers make the most of the Connected Home, and GfK's business group director Carl West will be highlighting how lessons from recessions past can help with the future. Meanwhile, keynotes will be provided by BBC Breakfast's business news correspondent – and occasional stand-up comic – Penny Haslam.
A limited number of Event Partner Packages are available. Contact Carly.Bailey@intentmedia.co.uk or Rob.Baker@intentmedia.co.uk to find out more. Alternatively, call 01992 535647 for details.
