RocketTheme's phpBB3 Style Club is a new club based on the highly popular Joomla Template Club. It provides phpBB3 styles that can either be used along side an existing Joomla site or with stand-alone phpBB3.

How do you join a club?
Joining is easy, just select the club that's right for your needs.

Which club is the best deal?
We have membership options to fit almost every possible need. If you are an individual or a small business, you should opt for the regular phpBB3 Style Club. If you are a web development shop or a web designer providing consulting and web development services, then a Developer phpBB3 Template Club membership is your best option.

Can I change my mind and use another style?
Absolutely we strongly believe that our club model offers the best features to our users. One of those features is the ability to use any of our available styles, and change it as often as you like. You will have access to all the phpbb3 styles during your membership period. Once your membership has expired you will no longer be able to download templates, but you are free to use the styles you are already using in accordance with your entitlements.

How often are new styles released?
We usually release one style per month, but sometimes we release extra bonus templates as an added benefit to our members

Can I purchase just one style?
We believe the club model that RocketTheme uses is the best solution for our users. We provide short term memberships with single entitlements that enable a single template usage for a small fee. But we also provide longer term memberships that allow our users to change their minds, and change styles, as well as providing more entitlements.

Can I download template available during my membership when my membership has expired?
No, membership entitles you access to the downloads and club-only areas of the forum. When your membership expires, you no longer have access to these club benefits and you must renew to regain access.

Is there a discount for upgrades or access to other clubs for existing members?
Of course :) We provide discounted upgrades and renewals for existing members even if your membership has expired. Just log on with your username and password and you will have the option to renew or upgrade to another club for a discount.

Do you provide source files, if so, in what format?
Yes, we provide source files in the Adobe Fireworks PNG format. Therefore, you will need to have Adobe Fireworks in order for you to make full use of our source files.

What is an entitlement?
Entitlements refer to the number of instances (sites) that can use our templates, styles or extensions. 1 entitlement is required for every live instant of a theme or extension. Non-Profit sites are exempt from entitlement restrictions.

Therefore, if you had 3 websites using our templates, you would need 3 entitlements.

Are the phpBB3 Club Styles GPL licensed?
All RocketTheme WordPress Themes are GPL compliant. You can read details on theRocketTheme Licenses from the link at the bottom of every page. This does not however mean that Joomla Club Styles are Free to distribute as you wish. Read our our Terms of Service for more clarification on this.

Is there a download limit?
Downloads are unlimited for the duration of your membership, meaning you can download all the templates, extensions, sources and other packages as many times as you like, at any point during your subscription. Note that downloads are unaffected by your entitlements count. Downloads are restricted after your membership expires.

What does unlimited entitlements mean for the developer membership options?

The developer membership levels still adhere to the same restrictions on redistribution and resale as the regular club memberships. The developer memberships are not a way around these rules. The primary difference is that a developer level membership entitles you to an unlimited number of entitlements. This means that you can deploy RocketTheme templates to as many clients as you wish.

A developer is expected to be performing some kind of customization of the template in the process of delivering the project for the client. You are not permitted to redistribute en-masse in any automated fashion. The main reason for the existence of the developer level membership is to provide a more convenient membership option for high-volume users to reduce the need to constantly add entitlements. Also the developers are provided other features and benefits that can greatly enhance the value of this membership level.


Can I renew a membership if my account is already active?
You can renew your membership within 30 days of it's expiration. If your membership does not expire for more than 30 days, you may be able to purchase entitlements only which allows you more usages, but does not extend your expiration date.

Can I share or sell my account?
No, RocketTheme club accounts are non-transferable per the Terms of Service.

What does RocketTheme define as a non-profit organization?
We use the Wikipedia definition, effectively: "A non-profit organization (abbreviated NPO, also not-for-profit) is a legally constituted organization whose objective is to support or engage in activities of public or private interest without any external commercial or monetary profit." We require that it must be a legally registered organization.
Terms of Service

RocketTheme hereby grants you a revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to use the web templates and other products sold through our web site by RocketTheme (the “products”) in accordance with these Terms of Service (the “license”) issued by RocketTheme.

NOTE: The term Templates may be used interchangeably to refer to Templates, Themes, or Styles or what ever term constitutes a "skin" for a particular platform

  1. Limited Usage Granted:

    You have the right to use the RocketTheme templates on as many concurrent sites as your entitlements provide for. After your membership expires, you may continue to use the templates your entitlements allow for, so the templates are not time-limited. The Developer level clubs grants unlimited implementations of RocketTheme templates as long as the usage complies with the rest of the Terms of Service.

  2. Non-Profit Sites:

    Non-profit sites are not counted towards concurrent templates usages. A non-profit site is defined to mean that it represents a legally registered non-profit organization in the country of its origin. If your site does not fall under this definition, it is not considered a non-profit by RocketTheme.

  3. Developer Membership:

    Developer level members need to renew their developer level account if they wish to continue to deploy RocketTheme templates to new clients after their existing Developer membership has expired. The developer level account allows for unlimited usage in client projects, it does NOT allow for redistribution of templates in any form.   4. License:

    RocketTheme templates are GPL compliant. All PHP portions of the templates, themes and styles are licensed under the appropriate GPL license of the parent platform. The non-compiled portions including images, cascading style sheets and JavaScript of "Club" templates are licensed under the The "RocketTheme Proprietary Use License" in accordance with the rest of these Terms of Service. "Free" templates are released with all aspects of the templates released under either GPL and/or MIT licenses. Further details on the licenses can be found in the RocketTheme Licenses link at the bottom of every page on RocketTheme.com.

  5. Modifications:

    You are authorized to make any necessary modification(s) to our products to fit your purposes. You may not however redistribute or release non-GPL portions of the templates as GPL or otherwise. You must also not change or remove the copyright information in the header of the xml descriptor file. You may however remove our copyright from the footer of the templates if needed. No use of our trademarks is granted under this Agreement. Please read the FAQ section regarding this if you have further questions. Porting non-GPL portions of our templates to other platforms and content management systems and redistributing as GPL or otherwise is also strictly prohibited. Please contact us if you have any requirements that are not covered by these terms.

  6. Unauthorized use:

    You may not place any non-GPL portions of our products, modified or unmodified, on a diskette, CD, website or any other medium and offer them for redistribution or resale of any kind without prior written consent from RocketTheme. Please contact us if you require more clarification.

  7. Updates:

    All templates are always designed for the latest version of the software they are designed for, but we can give no guarantee that the templates will run with previous versions of those platforms. Members may use the forums to address any issues related to software versions.

  8. Delivery:

    After we have successfully received your payment, your RocketTheme membership information will be emailed to the email address you provided. This may take up to 1 hour but usually happens within minutes. If you do not receive an email after this time period, contact us through this website. Upon logging in with the provided credentials, RocketTheme members will have instant access to all templates and club forum. During the membership term, full access will be provided to the templates and the forums. After membership has expired, download access is removed, and forum access is limited, entitlement rights continue however.

  9. Assignability:

    You may not sub-license, assign, or transfer this license or RocketTheme club subscription to anyone else without prior written consent from RocketTheme.

  10. Ownership:

    Our products are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. In no event shall RocketTheme be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use our products.

  11. Use of Content:

    You acknowledge that the site contains or may contain material (collectively the “Content”) which is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights; therefore, you are only permitted to use the material as expressly authorized by RocketTheme. You may not transfer or sell, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, or in any way exploit any of the Content, in whole or in part, except with an expressly permitted Agreement from the developer. Content used in our Demos and RocketLaunchers are used for demonstration purposes only and should not be used in any live environment without the express permission of RocketTheme or any other copyright holder. Usage or RocketTheme templates for pornography based sites, promoting tobacco and other addictive substances, is forbidden under the terms of this agreement.

  12. Refund policy:

    Since RocketTheme is offering non-tangible goods we do not issue refunds after the membership is made, which you are responsible for understanding upon registering at our site.

  13. Warranty:

    RocketTheme expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of title, merchantability including, but not limited to merchantability of computer programs, and fitness for a particular purpose. RocketTheme does not warrant or guarantee these templates in any manner. We cannot guarantee they will function with all 3rd party templates as there is currently no certification process for such components. Browser compatibility should be tested against the demonstration templates on the demo server. Please ensure that the browsers you use will work with the templates as we can not guarantee that RocketTheme templates will work with all browser combinations. Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Nothing in this section should be construed as excluding or limiting any warranty beyond what is permissible under applicable law.

  14. Support:

    RocketTheme offers these templates and designs ‘as is’, with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you wish or with all 3rd party components and modules. Further, we offer no support via email or otherwise for installation, customization, administration, etc. A private members-only forum is available to Template Club members. RocketTheme does not commit to monitor these forums, but we reserve the right to respond and answer questions. You acknowledge by your use of the templates that it is at your sole risk, and that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with the templates.

  15. Referrals and Links:

    RocketTheme rejects any responsibility concerning any contents linked or referred to from his pages - only if he has full knowledge of illegal contents and therefore would be able to prevent the visitors of his site from viewing those pages. Only the author of these pages should be hold liable for any damages which might occur out of this. The author also rejects any responsibility concerning any postings or messages which are published by users of discussions boards, guestbooks or mailing lists provided on this page.
  16. You agree to indemnify and hold RocketTheme harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the templates or this website.
  17. RocketTheme reserves the right to change the Terms of Service from time to time. Further, RocketTheme reserves the right to modify or discontinue any portion of the membership. RocketTheme shall not be liable to you or any third party should RocketTheme exercise its right to modify, suspend, limit or discontinue any feature of the membership.
  18. Use of the templates and this website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Colorado. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of any United States Federal or Colorado State Court sitting in Jefferson County, Colorado in any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to the use of this website or templates.
  19. If any provision of the Terms of Service are held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties with the other provisions remaining in full force and effect.
