The Fathom project investigates children’s creation of 3D virtual worlds in the primary (K-12) classroom. Taking a broadly constructionalist approach, the project successfully enabled children to produce three separate worlds. This paper documents the construction process and discusses ways in which this can be integrated with normal classroom practice.
