Reader review by John Riggs

I bought this CD in one of those "should I, shouldn't I" senerios. I've never looked back since. This CD, like the other Symphonic Suites, has some of the most awe-inspiring songs in any video game. It contains music to Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior, state-side) 1-3. The stringed Dragon Quest prelude is just as much of a staple theme as the Final Fantasy prelude. "People" literally had me laughing out loud because I used to think this was one of the more annoying songs, and now it's done in super symphonic bliss. One great thing about this CD is you can actually envision yourself going on a journey when listening to "Adventure" or heading into battle with "Fighting Spirits". Another great part - get this fans - is that the sheet music to "Rondo", "Heavenly Flight", and "Into the Legend" is included in the booklet. Always a plus in my book. Even if you're not a fan of the game series, this CD is a must-have.
