Mexico, February 27 (RHC) -- The Cuban sustainable agriculture system is now an inspiration in Mexico City, where yards, waste lands and plots have been transformed into urban gardens.

Havana, Feb 23 (ACN-RHC) The creation of a gasifier that uses wood waste to power a 40-Kw energy generator is expected to eventually bring significant energy-conserving carriers to the country, while protecting the environment.

Managua, February 7 (RHC)-- Experts from Cuba's Meteorology Institute are sharing their expertise on the regional climate model PRECIS with colleagues in Nicaragua.  The PRECIS model is useful to help forecast weather patterns and adopt timely measures, said Cuban retired Col. Jorge Castro, director of the National Institute for Territorial Studies (Ineter).

Cuban and foreign professionals will gather at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Doctor José Rafael Estrada Gonzalez Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery, which will be held from January 23^rd through the 27^th in Havana.

Educational guides for community training in disaster risk management prepared by Cuban scientists are currently being applied in Nicaragua, according to Doctor Fernando Guasch, from the National Center for Seismologic Research (CENAIS).
