Dr M undergoes surgery
KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been admitted to Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) for a minor surgery to remove nasal polyps.
The former prime minister is currently under observation in the normal ward after the hour-long surgery yesterday, according to a statement by his aide Sufi Yusoff.
He is expected to remain in hospital for the next few days. Visitation is currently limited to family members. — Bernama
