Barisan gets cracking

Barisan Nasional component parties are all geared up for the 13th general election with Umno divisions already submitting their list of winnable candidates to the top Barisan leadership for screening. Other component parties have indicated they will meet the April 30 deadline to send in their lists. Pakatan Rakyat, meanwhile, is trying to resolve the problem of overlapping seats so as to engage in straight fights with Barisan in the general election.
