Test Chamber: The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Enhanced Edition

The wait is almost over. The enhanced edition of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings hits retail shelves and digital downloads tomorrow for Xbox 360 and PC. Game Informer's Jeff Cork and Jason Oestreicher joined me for a quick look at the game. In this 30-minute video we see king-on-king action, a bald person fight club, a failed hay diving attempt, and we knock as many archers off of high ledges as we can.

I played the PC version until my PC died (an event many people have come to know as "the worst day of my life"). I'm now five hours into the new Xbox 360 version and find it to be every bit as impressive as the original game. I only watched ten minutes of it because I'm getting it tomorrow, but those ten minutes got me even more excited. Unless of course they run out of copies at gamestop, like they did with xenoblade chronicles.

Can't wait to grab this game. I think it's gonna do very well on consoles, especially once people have lost interest in Mass Effect 3 (already did four playthroughs, disappointed to say the least). It's nice to see a game where your actions and decisions don't pertain to some moral ruler of good/evil, have some real substance to them, and radically change the second act of the game. Witcher 2 looks like a must have :) I'm glad they included a tutorial in the 360 version. Did they make a fast travel system as well? Def not a dealbreaker for me, just curious.

I'm pretty psyched for this game! Too bad it's not coming out on PS3 though because I would love to play it. :/
Also, I always miss a new episode of Test Chamber when looking at the front page. I guess it doesn't catch my attention like Reiner & Phil or Replay does just yet.

I will pick up a copy after class today. But I wont be able to play it until my xbox returns from the repair center =(

For those of you who dont know; the internal wireless adapter in the Xbox 360 slim can somehow break and the only way to get it fixed is to send it in to get repaired. Or you could buy a wireless adapter to attach to the 360.
