Big Finish Day 2 Approaches

Big Finish Day 2 Approaches Over 30 guests will be attending Big Finish Day 2 on Saturday 11 February, a big BF celebration organized by tenthplanetevents.co.uk. There are over 30 guests, plus there will be a massive sale of Big Finish stock at the event with substantial discounts. Tickets can be bought at the venue on the day.

Headlining the event are Tom Baker and Louise Jameson – aka the Fourth Doctor and Leela – who will be launching the new Fourth Doctor Adventures in style.

Terry Molloy, who plays Davros, will be signing the new release The Curse of Davros, while Foyle’s War star Anthony Howell will be signing The Fourth Doctor Lost Stories (he plays Edward in The Valley of Death), The Renaissance Man (in which he plays Christopher) and Blake’s 7 – Volume 1 (in which he is the mysterious Gustav Nyrron).

Paul Darrow – Kerr Avon himself! – will be launching the brand new Blake’s 7 – The Liberator Chronicles, and there will be a Blake’s 7 panel with Paul and members of the production team.

Film legend David Warner, who has appeared in many productions including Doctor Who, Bernice Summerfield, Graceless and many more, will be there, as will lovely Anneke Wills, who plays 60s companion Polly Wright.

Director and star of Bernice Summerfield and Jago and Litefoot Lisa Bowerman appears, alongside Bernice Summerfield creator (and Doctor Who TV writer) Paul Cornell. Beth Chalmers, aka Seventh Doctor companion Raine Creevy will be signing copies of The Lost Stories, Sherlock Holmes and more. Toby Hadoke (Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf) will be interviewing guests on stage, and signing BF productions he's appeared in.

Also signing on the day will be guest stars Neil Roberts, Jennie Linden, Claudia Christian and Toby Hadoke.

Thunderbirds star Shane Rimmer will be signing the audio of his autobiography From Thunderbirds to Pterodactyls.

Big Finish producers Nicholas Briggs, David Richardson, Paul Spragg, Gary Russell and Scott Handcock will be giving an insight into upcoming productions.

Robert Shearman will be signing his collection Everyone’s Just So So Special, while Nev Fountain will be there with The Mervyn Stone Trilogy.

Other writers attending include Steve Cole, John Dorney, Nigel Fairs, Matt Fitton, James Goss, Simon Guerrier, Joseph Lidster, Steve Lyons, Mark Morris, Justin Richards, James Swallow and William Gallagher. There will also be a Writers Workshop for attendees.

Directors John Ainsworth and Ken Bentley will be there, plus sound designers Howard Carter, Matthew Cochrane, David Darlington, Richard Fox, Steve Foxon, Alistair Lock, Martin Montague and Jamie Robertson.

There will also be cover artists from Amazing 15, and studio engineers Toby Hyrcek-Robinson and Paul Midcalf.

Big Finish Day 2 takes place at Barking Abbey School Longbridge Road, Barking, Essex, IG11 8UF.
